It’s Hard Not To Feel Like A Doll In A Box
I have always been fascinated by the world of children’s toys and dolls. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve found it eerie the level of customization that has arisen for dolls. Especially in relation to stereotypical beauty standards perpetuated by the news and media. This concept manifested through drawing, poetry, and photography. How far would you change your appearance and who you are for others? What happens when you realize they can never be satisfied?
